Daniel Lioneye «Vol. III» será lanzado en agosto del 2016

Se ha anunciado a través de Soundi la noticia que estuvimos esperando desde hace unos meses. El nuevo álbum de Daniel Lioneye será lanzado a finales de verano.

El álbum lleva por nombre «Vol. III», tomando como referencia el álbum anterior llamado «Vol. II». Según la descripción del álbum, el nuevo sonido de Daniel Lioneye será influenciado por sus otros dos álbumes. «El álbum está lleno de una magia increíble y un complejo trabajo de guitarra que sin esfuerzo puede variar desde el rock, psych metal y black metal».

Los integrantes de esta tercera etapa de Daniel Lioneye son: Linde (Voz y guitarra), Mige (Bajo), Burton (Teclado) y Sepi (Batería). La fecha de lanzamiento oficial es el 19 de agosto. El álbum fue producido por Hiili Hiilesmaa, como ya es costumbre. El álbum será distribuido por «The End Records», al igual que su trabajo anterior. Después de las suposiciones tras la reunión de la formación original de Daniel Lioneye, Ville Valo parece ser que no está contemplado en este proyecto (al menos no en la batería).

Despues del lanzamiento, Daniel Lioneye hará una pequeña gira por Finlandia. No se ha confirmado si habrá alguna gira fuera de Finlandia, pero se puede suponer que podría haber alguna gira por Estados Unidos por su disquera «The End Records»:

DANIEL LIONEYE – Vol. III
Daniel Lioneye was first formed in 2001 and originally consisted of Ville Valo (HIM) on drums, Mige (HIM) on bass and Linde (HIM) on guitar and vocals. They released one album in the year they formed called «The King Of Rock ‘n’ Roll,» which was a ‘tongue in cheek’ psychedelic stoner rock album that was only released in Finland and in Germany. The title track of the album ended up being the theme song for Bam Margera’s TV show, «Viva La Bam.» In 2006, «The King Of Rock ‘n’ Roll» was the most played Finnish song in the world (right after Sibelius, of course).

In 2008, Linde felt the need to do another Daniel Lioneye album and wanted it to be completely different than the last. Daniel Lioneye has always been about breaking boundaries so it’s only natural that the second album takes a new direction. After 8 years Daniel Lioneye is now back with a third album ‘Vol. III’ to be released on August 19th via The End Records. The album is filled of amazing and intricate guitarwork wizardry and they effortlessly switch gears from rock, psych metal and black metal.
